ABOUT

SONAH was born in Karachi, Pakistan, but her journey started before she could even walk. Moving to Canada at just six months old, she’s lived across the country, from Toronto to Montreal, New Brunswick to Alberta—each place shaping her into the artist she is today.

With Acadian roots from her mother’s side and Pakistani-Indian heritage from her father, SONAH’s music is a reflection of her diverse background—blending cultures, emotions, and experiences into a pop and R&B sound that’s both powerful and deeply personal.

Her love for music began at just five years old, eyes glued to the TV screen, dancing and smiling every time a good song came on. But as she grew older, she struggled to figure out what career path to take. It wasn’t until her teenage years that she had a realization—music had always been there, waiting for her to embrace it. That awakening led her to officially start her career in September 2024.
